Workers Compensation

Our expert compensation lawyers will be able to help you if you have been injured:-

  • while working,
  • on your way to work,
  • on your way home from work,
  • during any travel you do for your employment,
  • during a work break,

Unlike other types of claims, in workers compensation matters you do not need prove that your injury occurred as a result of someone else's fault. All you need to show is that your work injury was "substantially contributed to" by your employment.

Your injury can be physical or psychological in nature.

The New South Wales Workers Compensation Act provides you with rights to:-

  • have your medical expenses paid for;
  • receive income benefits while you are losing wages;
  • lump sum amounts of compensation for injuries that result in permanent impairment.

Workers Compensation may also cover you if the primary income earner of your household has died or become severely injured due to a workplace accident.

These benefits are paid by an insurance company, not your employer.

If you have been injured as a result of this type of accident, RMB's personal injury lawyers can help you secure the compensation you are entitled to.

In addition, we do not charge you for helping you with your workers compensation claim. Our fees are paid by the Independent Review Office. Our fees are NOT deducted from your workers compensation entitlements.
