Sharon has Bachelor of Laws (Honours) (2001) and Bachelor of Teaching (2015) degrees from the University of Wollongong.

Sharon has practised primarily in the area of injury compensation since 2001, and advises clients on a broad range of matters including accidents at work, motor vehicle accidents, medical negligence and civil liability claims. She also has specialised knowledge of the workers compensation scheme applying to coal miners.
