After schooling in Sydney, Mark joined the Department of Attorney-General and Justice, working in the NSW Courts system as Registrar and Coroner in number of country locations before joining Lovett & Green Solicitors in Bourke and later Matthews Williams Solicitors in Parkes. Matthews Williams merged with RMB Lawyers in 2021.

Mark has been involved in the Riverina Law Society and the Central West Law Society. His passion for the Law revolves around solving problems for clients – particularly finding unusual solutions to complex legal problems.
Community connections: Mark is involved in the Anglican Church, being elected to the Bathurst Diocese Synod, Parish Secretary and Anglicare Parkes Committee. He is also a Board member of Currajong Disability Services Ltd, Secretary to the Parkes Action Club (a community service club), Secretary of the Parkes Picnic Races Committee and a Trustee of the Episcopal Ministry Fund.

Mark is a long-time member of Transport Heritage NSW (Rail Museum) and the Australian Railway Historical Society and other railway organisations. He is a keen gardener and enjoys playing Contract Bridge. He is involved in politics, follows football and cricket and was interested in travelling before COVID-19.
