We are able to assist parties who have Family Law matters including but not limited to Property Settlement, Parenting Arrangements and Divorce applications. Hayley Kelloway of our Islamic Law team is also a Family Law lawyer, thus being able to assist parties by having an understanding and knowledge of Shari'ah applicable to family law, as well as the Australian jurisdictional requirements. Like that of Dispute resolution, the initial stages of the matter can incorporate liaising with religious scholars or your local imam to, at the outset, discuss the matter without automatic recourse through the Court system. Within our Family Law division, you have the option of proceeding through either Collaborative law or the litigation process. |
